Bindi & Bird recently finished a banded shade project for a nursery in Blaine, and the room now feels soft, bright and peaceful at every time of day.
The family wanted a clean, modern look on a large window and a side window, gentle daylight for playtime and easy privacy for naps. Banded shades gave them all of it with one simple shade on each window.

Why We Chose Banded Shades
Banded shades layer alternating stripes of sheer and solid fabric. Line up the sheer stripes and soft daylight pours into the room. Shift the shade slightly and the solid stripes come together for privacy, all without raising the shade.
For this nursery we chose a soft, linen-look fabric in a warm gray with a matching fabric-wrapped cassette at the top. The texture adds warmth, and the neutral color pairs beautifully with the white trim, wood-look floors and natural baskets in the room.

During the day the sheer stripes keep the nursery bright and cheerful with a gentle, even glow. At nap time, a quick adjustment brings the solid stripes together for a softer, more private room.
