Duette® Architella® Honeycomb Shades in Burlington
Cozy Bedrooms, Bright Living Spaces and One Beautiful Look
Bindi & Bird recently completed a whole-home Hunter Douglas Duette® Architella® honeycomb shade project for a family in Burlington, and every room now has the same soft, finished look.
The homeowners wanted comfort through the cooler months, restful bedrooms and one clean style from room to room. Duette Architella brought all of it together.
Our Pick
Why We Chose Duette Architella
Duette Architella is Hunter Douglas’s honeycomb within a honeycomb. Each pleat holds an extra inner cell, which adds a cozy layer at the glass and keeps rooms feeling warm and snug on crisp Skagit Valley mornings.
For this home we chose the Elan fabric in Journal, a soft, warm neutral, with a 1¼” pleat. It blends beautifully with the light walls, crisp white trim and soft carpet, and the larger pleat gives every window a clean, tailored look.
Above the largest bedroom window, a matching Duette specialty shade follows the curve of the arched window, so even the half-round glass has the same soft, finished look.
Room by Room
Restful Bedrooms, Bright Living Spaces
We matched the fabric to how each room is used. The bedrooms and primary suite have room darkening Architella for calm, restful sleep, even on long summer evenings.
One fabric, one color, every room.
The playroom, home office and primary bath have light filtering Architella, which fills each room with soft, even daylight and adds privacy. From the hallway, every window looks the same, so the whole home feels calm and pulled together.
Easy Control
PowerView® on the Big Windows
The tall slider in the primary suite and a high transom window have PowerView® Automation. The homeowners raise and lower them with a remote, their phone or a schedule, so the hardest windows to reach are now the easiest to use.
